Hisar, June 13 (HS). The two-day 36th National Conference of the Indian Association of Veterinary Microbiologists, Immunologists and Infectious Disease Specialists was organized by the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences located in Navaniya, Udaipur, Rajasthan on the topic 'Impact of Animal Health on Human Health and National Prosperity'. In this scientific conference, scientists and students of LUVAS received awards for research presentation in various sessions.
In this national conference of IAVMI, a team of scientists and students from various departments of LUVAS participated, which included 10 teaching members and one student. During the conference, this team won first, second and third prizes in various oral and poster presentation sessions. LUVAS Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Vinod Kumar Verma on Thursday encouraged the faculty members for their scientific achievements and gave guidelines to continue such research work in future as well. Dean of Veterinary College Dr. Gulshan Narang, Director of Human Resource Management Dr. Rajesh Khurana also congratulated the award winners on this occasion.
In this conference, Dr. Rajesh Chhabra, Dr. Mahavir and Dr. Jeenu Manoj have contributed to the published book on One Health One Nation. On this occasion, Dr. Rajesh Chhabra was invited as chairman, Dr. Anand Prakash as co-chairman and Dr. Mahavir, Dr. Rahul, Dr. Pankaj, Dr. Anand Prakash and Dr. Anshul as rapporteurs in various technical sessions. Faculty and students of the Department of Microbiology, Department of Physiology and Biochemistry and Department of Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology presented various research in the conference.
Among the winners of different categories in different sessions, Dr. Kanishth Batra was given first prize for oral presentation, Dr. Anshul Lathar was given second prize for oral presentation, Dr. Anand Prakash was given second prize for poster presentation, Dr. Rahul was given third prize in poster presentation and student Dr. Punit was given third prize in poster competition.
