Police gave a return gift to the JCB driver who created a ruckus at toll tax – watch video

A drunk JCB driver lost his temper at a toll plaza in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. The JCB driver drove the JCB over the toll plaza cabin and vandalised it. However, the police have now arrested the JCB driver. According to the information, the JCB driver got very angry when he was asked to pay the toll on Tuesday morning at the Chhijarsi toll plaza in Pilkhuwa police station area. A video of this incident has also surfaced, which is now going viral on social media.

Police said that the accused, Dheeraj, a resident of Badaun, works at Pilkhuwa brick kiln and he had come to the Chhijarsi toll plaza with a JCB from Hapur, when the toll employee asked him for the toll fee.

Toll workers barely saved their lives by running away

According to the police, the person, angry at being asked to pay toll, drove a JCB over the toll plaza cabin and started vandalising it. The JCB driver broke two cabins in no time. After the incident, the toll workers ran away to save their lives. The video of this incident has surfaced on social media.

In the video that surfaced after the arrest, two policemen are seen holding the accused and the accused is seen stumbling. A person shared the video of the accused being caught by the policemen and climbing on the JCB and wrote that the police also gave a return gift.

Search for JCB based on CCTV, driver arrested

After this, the driver fled from the spot with the JCB. However, on receiving information, the police reached the spot and started searching for the JCB on the basis of CCTV and arrested the driver.

Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma said that the police received a video through social media, in which it was seen that the JCB driver was vandalizing the Pilkhuwa toll and trying to hurt the toll workers.

The accused was drunk at the time of the incident: Police

He said that taking immediate cognizance of this video, the police have arrested the JCB driver and his JCB has also been seized. According to the officer, the accused Dheeraj was drunk at the time of the incident.

According to the SP, a case has been registered against the JCB driver at Pilkhuwa police station.

He said that while the JCB driver was running away, he tried to hurt other people too and a case has been registered in this regard too.
