I will return to the House after becoming the Chief Minister… How did the veteran leader become a kingmaker after being released from jail?

Chandrababu Naidu: Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time today. He became the Chief Minister in 1995-2004 and 2014-2019. The political life of Andhra Pradesh's most successful Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is no less than a film story. Let's take a look at the political journey of the TDP chief who started his political career with Congress.

He was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for 13 years and 247 days

It has not even been a year since Chandrababu Naidu, who emerged as a key ally in Modi Government 3.0 by winning 16 Lok Sabha seats, almost disappeared from Indian or regional politics. No one expected him to recover.

But his heartfelt appeal in a rally during the elections worked and he won the assembly elections with a huge majority. He established himself as a national leader by being the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for 13 years and 247 days.

Naidu fulfilled his promise

Naidu spent 6 months in jail

In September last year, Naidu was arrested by the state CID in the skill development scam. He had to spend about two months in Rajamahendravaram Central Jail. When he was released from jail about eight months ago, he probably did not have enough confidence in himself to return to politics.

That is why he appealed to the people of Andhra Pradesh in a public meeting in Kurnool that if you trust me and my party and send me to the assembly, there will be development in Andhra Pradesh, otherwise this will be my last election. This appeal worked and the public handed him power.
