Ranchi, 14 February (HS). Congress has supported the Bharat Bandh called on February 16 by farmer organizations across the country in support of their demands and to protest against the treatment of farmers by the central government. In the light of the guidelines issued by the National Congress, State President Rajesh Thakur has issued instructions to all the district presidents and state officials to support Bharat Bandh in their respective districts.
Thakur said on Wednesday that the country is going through anarchy and farmers are on the streets for legal guarantee of MSP. The youth of the country are forced to take to the streets in search of employment. The future of lakhs of youth is at stake with the Agniveer scheme. Policies are being implemented against the interests of the general public. By bringing the law, sometimes the truck operators and sometimes the general public and small traders are being harassed.
He said that the situation in the country is going from bad to worse. Those who are in charge of the country are not worried about this. People are forced to take the path of struggle on the streets for their interests. Congress stands with all those sections of the country who are going through difficult times. He said that we fully stand with the steps taken by the farmers of the country against injustice.
