The Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has today issued an advisory against spreading misleading information related to its activities. The board has warned the students not to fall prey to online portals spreading misleading news. The CBSE board has asked the students to visit only the official website for authentic information and updates related to CBSE. The main official website of the board is cbse.gov.in. Apart from this, the board has also shared the list of official websites.
The advisory issued said, 'It has come to our notice that some online portals and websites are circulating old links and unverified news related to model question papers, syllabus, CBSE resources and activities. These links and news falsely claim to provide updated information for session 2024-25. ' It said, 'In the interest of the public, we would like to emphasize that information obtained from unauthorized sources may be misleading and may create unnecessary confusion among schools, students, parents and other stakeholders. '
