Jaipur, June 10 (HS). The Galta Gate police station arrested four criminals including a husband and wife in the case of murdering a businessman in Delhi. Police information has revealed that the accused woman had called the businessman to Delhi to meet her by trapping him in a love trap and then held him hostage along with her accomplices. She sent the businessman's photo with his hands and legs tied to his family and demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. On not receiving the ransom, she murdered him, tied his corpse in a mattress and threw it in a drain.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Jaipur (North) Rashi Dogra Doodi said that in the murder case of Dilip Sanwaria, resident of Galta Gate, accused Anjali Soni (21) wife of Pradeep Goswami, resident of Ghospura Colony, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh and husband Pradeep (23) son of Ram Singh, resident of village Rithosh Kalla, Morena, Madhya Pradesh have been arrested. Both were currently living on Satyam Marg of Ganesh Puri Colony, Galta Gate, Jaipur. Their companions Vijay (29) son of Hansraj, resident of Pawta Pragpura, presently JJ Colony, Nangli, Delhi and Santosh Kumar (25) son of Shivlal, resident of Chamoli Uttarakhand, presently Piragadhi Miya Pali Nagar, Delhi have been arrested. At the same time, police teams are conducting raids in search of two absconding accused in this case.
The police have confiscated the car used to dispose of the body from the accused. In this regard, Galta Gate resident Piyush Sanwaria had lodged a missing report of his father Dilip Sanwaria (51) on May 28. In the complaint, it was told that his father Dilip Sanwaria is in the business of e-rickshaw batteries. He left on the night of May 20 saying that he was going to Faridabad. Even after seven days, he is not contactable. On May 28, in the morning, a photo was sent on WhatsApp from his mobile. In this, his mouth is covered with tape and his hands and legs are tied. A ransom of Rs 50 lakh was demanded through a call. On this, the police got the location of businessman Dilip Sanwaria's mobile. The last location came from different places in Kanota area. The location during his disappearance was also found to be Delhi. On the basis of call details, it was found that businessman Dilip Sanwaria was in contact with a woman named Anjali Soni, resident of Galta Gate. On checking the location of the suspect Anjali, it was found to be in Delhi.
Based on suspicion, the police started gathering information. Anjali and her husband Pradeep, who drives an e-rickshaw, were found missing. Police investigation revealed that the businessman and Anjali had an affair. Anjali had also borrowed about 30 thousand rupees from the businessman. A police team was sent to Delhi. Based on the mobile location, the police team marked a flat while searching for Dilip Sanwaria, who was missing in Delhi for about 4 days. While searching the flat, the police found evidence of Dilip Sanwaria's murder. Police saw a suspicious car after scanning more than 300 CCTVs in Delhi. Based on the footage, the police searched the dirty drain near the government school in Sultanpura Majra, Delhi. Where the police climbed the six feet high wall and looked, they saw a bundle of mattresses lying in the drain. When the bundle was taken out of the drain and opened, Dilip Sanwaria's body was found wrapped with pillows, plastic bags, bedsheets. The hands and feet of the body were tied. Tape was put on the mouth. In the preliminary investigation of the police, it came to light that the murder was done by strangulation. The police got the post-mortem done in Delhi and handed over the body to the family. The police registered a case of murder and started looking for the accused. It was learnt from an informer that after committing the murder, the murderers have left for Char Dham to escape.
The police team caught the accused Anjali and her husband Pradeep by raiding on the basis of mobile location. The police team caught her two companions Vijay and Santosh along with the car from Gopeshwar temple in Chamboli. The police team is searching for Manish and Mukesh, who are absconding in the case. During interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that the deceased Dilip Sanwaria was in a relationship with Anjali Soni for a long time. Anjali was very upset with him. On May 3, Anjali and her husband Pradeep went to Delhi to meet their companions. They made a plan with their companions. Anjali called Dilip and asked him to meet in Delhi. When he refused once, she again pressurized him and asked him to come to Delhi. On the night of May 20, Dilip left for Delhi by bus. As soon as he reached Delhi, the gang held Dilip hostage as per the plan. Dilip's hands and feet were tied and tape was pasted on his mouth. Dilip's photo was sent to his family on WhatsApp from Dilip's mobile itself. A ransom of Rs 50 lakh was demanded.
But the family members did not bring the money. Anjali and her husband Pradeep left Dilip Sanwaria with their companions and came to Jaipur on 21st May. About two days later, their companion Vijay came to Jaipur. After coming to Jaipur, he told about killing Dilip Sanwaria and disposing of the body in the drain. In order to mislead the police, Vijay came to Jaipur with deceased Dilip Sanwaria's phone. He set the location by switching on the deceased's mobile at different places in Jaipur. The police could not know that the missing person was murdered. He set the location to Kanota side and left for Delhi.
