Ranchi, June 10 (HS). Hazaribagh Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal has now become an MP from Hazaribagh Lok Sabha constituency. Therefore, he met the Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahato on Monday and submitted his resignation from the membership of the Assembly.
During the Lok Sabha elections, Manish Jaiswal was made a candidate from Hazaribagh on a BJP ticket. He defeated MLA JP Patel who left the BJP and joined the Congress. Apart from Manish Jaiswal, BJP MLA Dhullu Mahto (Dhanbad) and JMM MLAs Joba Manjhi (Singhbhum) and Nalin Soren (Dumka) have also won the Lok Sabha elections and have become MPs. After becoming MPs, these four MPs will now have to leave the membership of the Legislative Assembly.
