Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini made a big announcement in a press conference. He announced that the government will give 100-yard plots to 20 thousand poor families of the state. Along with this, the government will also get the plots received under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme registered. He said that this scheme was made by former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. On Monday, the beneficiaries of BPL families will be given possession of the plots in Sonipat and their registration papers will also be given on the spot.
Further, CM Saini said that all the ministers and MLAs of the state will also participate in the programs to be held at different places. The families who could not be given possession of the plot due to lack of land will be given financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh each to buy the plot. The Chief Minister said that the state government has spent Rs 552 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Haryana. Construction of 30,440 houses was approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.
Further, CM Saini said that the duty of DCs of all districts has been fixed to solve the problems of people regarding property ID and family identity card. They will solve the problems of the people by organizing Janta Darbar in every district. He said that a war room has been set up in the Chief Secretary's office to monitor this, from where the CM himself will review the applications received in the districts in the evening. The CM said that he himself will monitor it.
