Komakhan police of Mahasamund district has recovered 100 kg of ganja worth Rs 15 lakhs from two different cars from Madhya Pradesh, but the ganja smugglers fled from the spot taking advantage of the darkness of the night. On the night of Saturday-Sunday, Komakhan police was patrolling in the border area, when the informer informed that two people were going to smuggle ganja worth lakhs to MP in two different cars passing through MP.
Giving information on Sunday, Komakhan police said that on the information of the informer, the police tried to stop the car near Lukupali village. But the accused ganja smuggler tried unsuccessfully to escape from the spot in a filmy style by driving the Swift Dzire car at high speed. The police chased both the cars. The car full of ganja met with an accident near Narra Ratapali and overturned, due to darkness in the night, the accused fled with the keys of the car.
However, the Komakhan police has registered a case against unknown persons and has taken the matter under investigation and is searching for the accused who fled from the spot.
