Korba/Janjgir, 09 June (HS). A moving car caught fire in Pamgarh of Janjgir district on Sunday late evening. The car driver saved his life by getting down in time. The incident took place near Neeche Bhadra Jaitkham Sthal. Efforts are being made to extinguish the fire with the help of local people.
According to the information received, a Wagon R car coming from Janjgir suddenly caught fire near Jaitkham Sthal in Bhadra village on the main road going from Pamgarh to the district headquarters. As soon as the driver sensed the fire, he quickly got down and within no time the car turned into flames.
It is being told that the car belongs to a resident of Mehndi. He was going back to Mehndi from Korba, when he reached Bhadra around 7:50, smoke started coming out of the car. Police has reached the spot and is trying to extinguish the fire.
