Governor and Chief Minister congratulated on Maharana Pratap Jayanti

Jaipur, June 9 (HS). Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma have greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Maharana Pratap's birth anniversary.

Remembering Maharana Pratap on his birth anniversary, the Governor said that he fought relentlessly against the Mughals for the protection and independence of the motherland by taking along all sections of the society, but never accepted defeat. The Governor has called upon people to take inspiration from the ideals of Maharana Pratap and work for the creation of a strong and prosperous India.

While extending his best wishes, the Chief Minister said that Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap sacrificed everything for the protection and self-respect of the motherland. Maharana Pratap's personality is a symbol of pride and honour of not only Rajasthan but the entire country. On this occasion, the Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to take inspiration from the struggle-filled and glorious life of Maharana Pratap and pledge to serve the country and play an active role in the development of the state.
