Muslim reservation will continue in Andhra, this is social justice: TDP

New Delhi: Telugu Desham Party (TDP) president Chandrababu Naidu's son, who is going to play an important role in the NDA meeting, has made an important statement regarding Muslim reservation. TDP leader and Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh said today that Muslim reservation will continue. This is not for appeasement or politics. This is for social justice. In Andhra, the party's focus will always be on job creation and upliftment of the deprived. TDP has won 16 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.

Nara Lokesh said that he will continue the reservation given to Muslims in the state. He said that reservation for Muslims has been going on here for the last two decades and we are in support of it. We intend to continue it.

He said that the reason for continuing reservation for Muslims in the state is that the per capita income of minorities in the state is the lowest. So as a government it is our responsibility to take them out of poverty. So whatever decision I take is not to please them but to take them out of poverty.

He said that if we have to make the country a developed nation, then we cannot leave anyone behind. Therefore, we should work together in this direction. Taking everyone along has been the identity of TDP. Nara Lokesh played an important role in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh. After Chandrababu's arrest, he took charge of the party and walked 4,000 km to reach out to the people.

Speaking on Chandrababu's arrest, the TDP leader said that this is revenge politics. The law applies to rule everyone equally. There is no place for revenge politics in India.
