Kangana Ranaut: Newly elected BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is in the news for getting slapped. According to reports, a woman constable of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) allegedly slapped Kangana during an argument on some issue at Chandigarh airport. Kangana Ranaut has complained in this matter and has demanded the removal of the accused woman from the job and strict action against her. According to media reports, the woman constable has been taken into custody.

According to NDTV, the newly elected MP was allegedly slapped by a woman constable at the Chandigarh airport for “insulting farmers”. The incident took place when Ranawat, who won the Lok Sabha election from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, was flying to Delhi.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable who slapped the new MP has been identified as Kulwinder Kaur. It is being told that during the security check, the CISF jawan suddenly slapped the BJP MP.

According to the report, the accused CISF jawan has been taken into custody. At present, further investigation is going on in this case. After winning the Lok Sabha elections, the actress was coming to Delhi to attend the NDA parliamentary party meeting.

37-year-old outspoken actress Kangana Ranaut, who makes bold political comments, is now heading to Parliament as a Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Mandi seat of Himachal Pradesh. Kangana is known for her films as well as her sharp comments. Veteran film industry actor Javed Akhtar had filed a defamation case against her.

Kangana Ranaut is the fourth woman to be elected to the Lok Sabha from Himachal Pradesh. She is the first woman who has no connection with the former royal family. BJP candidate Kangana defeated her Congress rival and Rampur prince Vikramaditya Singh from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency by 74,755 votes. Kangana is the third woman to be elected from the Mandi seat.
