Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (R) in a message issued on the eve said that Sant Ravidas raised his voice against social inequalities and injustice throughout his life and fought hard for the establishment of an egalitarian society.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Saint Shiromani Ravidas worked to remove the evils of the society along with teaching social harmony. His works are the heritage of our literature. The efforts made by Saint Ravidas to end social evils are inspiring for the society.
