Chief Minister Khattar has made a big announcement for farmers in the budget. While presenting the budget on Friday, CM Khattar announced that the farmers in Haryana who deposit their loans till 30 September 2023 by 31 May 2024, their interest and penalty will be waived. He further said that I am a farmer's son. I understand the fear of farmers. I have done farming by running the solution myself.
Announcing the budget, the Chief Minister said that the process of imparting drone operation training to 500 young farmers through 'Drishti' launched by the State Government as part of the Government of India's initiative to promote farmer drones in spraying fertilizers and pesticides has been initiated. Has been done. So far 100 farmers have been trained and provided drone pilot licenses.
Further, Chief Minister Khattar said that agricultural production has increased at the rate of 8.1 percent in 2020-23-24, which is one of the highest in the country. Nearly one million farmers provide their crop data every season on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal, which provides useful information to the government for formulating market intervention strategies. The government has deposited payment of Rs 29,876 crore directly into the accounts of farmers in Rabi and Kharif season-2023.
