Jammu, June 3 (HS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district secretary Rohin Chandan claimed that exit polls indicate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may win for the third time. Describing Modi as the “messiah” of the poor, Chandan highlighted that 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty under Modi's leadership, while the Congress has been running a “Garibi Hatao” campaign for decades.
Chandan praised Modi's efforts to provide housing, piped water, free cooking gas, food grains and toilets to the poor. He also described the construction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya as an important achievement. Chandan stressed that exit polls have predicted a significant majority for the BJP-led NDA in the Lok Sabha elections, with Modi expected to perform better than 2019.
Celebrating the BJP's recent victory in the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Chandan expressed confidence that Modi would secure another term, driven by public support for his vision of a developed and self-reliant India.
