Gumla, June 3 (HS). Counting of votes for Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency will be held on Tuesday at the counting center of Polytechnic College located in Chandali. Counting observer A. Venkatesh and general observer K.D. Kunjam appointed by the Election Commission of India inspected the counting center today on Monday.
During this, Deputy Commissioner Karna Satyarthi and Superintendent of Police Shambhu Kumar Singh were also present. All of them jointly inspected the counting centre. During this, they also took information from the General Observer and Counting Observer about the number of assembly wise tables and the entry and exit of counting personnel and counting agents. He took information from the Deputy Commissioner about the complete preparations regarding taking the counting hall control unit from the strong room and sealing the EVM-VVPAT machine and taking it to the warehouse after counting.
Inspected the postal ballot hall and took necessary information from the officials. The Deputy Commissioner said that mobile phones, matchboxes, lighters, water bottles, tobacco, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, chewing gum etc. will be prohibited in the counting centre. All preparations have been completed for the counting day. He also inspected the stalls set up by all the departments. The Superintendent of Police also gave complete information about the security arrangements on the counting day.
