The Election Commission has rejected the appeal of Congress leader Jairam Ramesh and has asked him to submit evidence of his allegations by this evening (June 3). The Congress leader asked for a week's time to prove his allegations. But the Election Commission has said that 'you will not be given a week's time, you should present the evidence this evening itself.'
It is not right to spread rumours and doubt everyone: Rajiv Kumar

This is clearly a threat, which shows how scared the BJP is. Officials should not come under any pressure and should follow the Constitution.' Election Commission wrote a letter to the Congress leader

No DM has reported any improper influence by you. Therefore, the Commission completely rejects your request for extension of time.'
