Accident News: The car of a family from Amritsar, returning from a religious place in Himachal Pradesh, met with an accident near Gurdaspur. Five members of the family were seriously injured. A team of Road Safety Force reached the spot and took the injured to the civil hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
Giving information, family member Jatinder Kumar said that he was returning from Nurpur to Amritsar with his father, mother, brother and cousin. When he started trimming on Baryar bypass, suddenly the car lost its balance. Due to which the car went out of control and fell on the side of the road, due to which the airbags of the car opened.
His mother Manju Devi, sister Shaili and nephew Akash were seriously injured in the accident. While he and his father Prem Prakash suffered minor injuries. Road Safety Force officials reached the spot and called an ambulance to take him to the hospital. On the other hand, Road Safety Force ASI Suvinder Singh said that he had received information that a Wagoneer car had met with an accident at the bypass turn. People reached the spot and took him out of the car and took him to the hospital.
