Train Accident: Two goods trains collided near Madhopur in Punjab's Sirhind this morning, injuring two loco pilots, who have been admitted to Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Civil Hospital.
The freight train hit from behind
A railway police official said that on Sunday morning, a goods train standing at Sirhind railway station was hit from behind by another goods train, injuring two loco pilots. He said that due to the collision, the engine of one of them overturned on the other track and collided with a passenger train.
2 loco pilots injured
There were no casualties in the accident, but loco pilots Vikas Kumar and Himanshu Kumar were injured, the official said. A doctor at Fatehgarh Sahib Civil Hospital said Vikas Kumar suffered a head injury and Himanshu Kumar suffered a back injury. They have been referred to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala, the doctor said.
