One such case came to light from Jehanabad Lok Sabha constituency of Bihar, where a woman died in Dev Kuli village under booth number 151. However, the family members decided to vote first. After this they talked about cremation.
According to the information, the mother of Mithilesh Yadav and Manoj Yadav, residents of Dev Kuli village adjacent to Jehanabad district headquarters, was more than 80 years old and she passed away. Voting was about to start a few hours after her death. In such a situation, everyone decided to vote first and then cremate the body.
Manoj Yadav, the son of the deceased, said that voting comes every five years. My mother who has left this world will not come. Therefore, all of us including the family decided that the vote should be cast first and only after that the body should be cremated.
Usha Devi, a female member of the deceased's family, also said that voting is important, so we are going to vote first. We will stand in line with the whole family and vote first. After this, the body will be cremated.
