Heavy fine for breaking traffic rules, SBI-Aadhaar card also updated | Live Updates, Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Rules changed from 1 June 2024: Today, i.e. from June 1, many rules are going to change which will have a direct impact on our lives. Driving license is the most important among the rules which are being changed.

1. New rules for driving license come into effect from today

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced new rules for driving licenses. From June 1, 2024, anyone can go to a private driving training center and give their test. Earlier these tests were conducted only in RTO offices. All of them will be authorized by the central government to conduct tests and issue certificates. The government wants to phase out about 900,000 old vehicles through the new rules. The government is trying to control the rising pollution.

2. The minor will have to pay a fine of 25,000

If you drive at high speed, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 1000 to Rs 2000. If a minor is caught driving, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 25,000. Also, the registration of the vehicle owner will be cancelled. No minor can get a license issued for 25 years.

3. Aadhaar Card Update

If you want to update your Aadhaar card, do it by June 14. Anyone can easily update Aadhaar card online. If a person chooses offline, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 50.

4. Banks will be closed sometime in June

Banks will remain closed for 10 days in the month of June due to public holidays declared by the Reserve Bank. Out of these 10 days, 5 are Sundays. Bank employees will also remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on different dates in different parts of the country on festivals like Raj Sankranti and Bakrid.

5. Changes in rules related to SBI credit card

Recently, State Bank of India Card had said in its notification that reward points will not be available on government related transactions on some credit cards. This rule has come into effect from today i.e. June 1. The bank has announced the complete list of such credit cards.
