First change- reduction in LPG prices
Oil companies change the prices of LPG cylinders on the first of every month. New prices have been announced from 6 am today, June 1, 2024. According to the IACL website, LPG prices have been cut for the third consecutive month. The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has come down by Rs 72. However, this time there has been no change in the price of 14 kg domestic gas cylinder.
Before the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, at 6 am, the oil marketing companies have given a big gift to LPG customers. After the new changes, the 19 kg commercial gas cylinder can become cheaper by 69.50 paise in Delhi, Rs 72 in Kolkata, Rs 69.50 in Mumbai and Rs 70.50 in Chennai. Another change – new ATF price cut
Along with deciding to cut the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders, oil companies have also changed the prices of aviation fuel i.e. air turbine fuel. And this can prove to be an impact on your air travel. According to IOCL, the price of ATF in Delhi has been reduced from Rs 1,01,643.88 per kiloliter to Rs 94,969.01 per kiloliter. Apart from this, its price in Kolkata has come down from Rs 1,10,583.13 per kiloliter to Rs 1,03,715 per kiloliter and in Mumbai from Rs 95,173.70 per kiloliter to Rs 88,834.27.
Third Change- SBI Credit Card
The third major change has been made for credit card users from June 1. The country's largest government bank SBI has implemented changes in the rules regarding credit cards. One of the changes in the SBI credit card rules on the first date is that reward points cannot be applied to government-related transactions for some SBI credit cards.
Fourth Change – Driving Lions Test
The fourth major change coming on June 1 is related to your driving license. From today, driving test can be done in private institutions as well. Till now this test was conducted only in the RTO office. Now those applying for a license in a private institution will also have to undergo a driving test. And they will be given a license. However, it should be noted that this testing process will be conducted only in a private institution which is recognized by RT. Along with this, if a minor below the age of 18 is caught driving a vehicle, then a fine of 25 thousand will be imposed on him and his license will not be issued for the next 25 years.
The fifth change will come into effect from June 14.
The deadline for updating the Aadhaar card for free has been extended till June 14. And it has been extended several times. In such a situation, there is little chance of it being extended further. Therefore, the Aadhaar card holder has got a few days to update it for free. After this, you will have to go to the Aadhaar center and pay a charge of Rs 50 to get it updated.
