DGCA issues notice to Air India for keeping passengers without AC for 8 hours in summer | Live Updates, Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of the country has issued a show cause notice to Air India after a 24-hour delay in the flight from Delhi to San Francisco. The flight was delayed and there was no AC, so many passengers had to face trouble. At present, there is severe heat in the country. Due to this heat, it has become difficult for people to live. Meanwhile, Air India kept people sitting without AC for eight hours.

Passenger fainted without AC

DGC has issued this notice for two flights AI-179 and AI-183. Flight number AI-179 was delayed on 24 May, while flight number AI-183 was delayed on 30 May. Also, due to lack of cooling in the cabin, all the passengers sitting in it had to bear the heat. There are also reports of some passengers fainting. In this regard, DGC has issued a show cause notice against Air India.

You will have to reply within three days

The notice said that Air India has violated the facilities provided by airlines. Give reasons why action should not be taken against you for such violation. DGC has sought a reply within 3 days of issuing the notice. Please note that Air India flight AI-183 from Delhi airport was scheduled to depart from Delhi to San Francisco at 3:20 pm on Thursday. But due to some reason, this flight will take off today on Friday with a delay of about 20 hours.
