Jaipur, May 30 (HS). The round of night Chaupals of officials has started once again in Rajasthan. In all the districts, top officials like Divisional Commissioner and District Collector are conducting night Chaupals and listening to the problems of people sitting at remote places. Actually, these Chaupals were closed since the Corona transition period and the common people had to come to the district headquarters away from their villages to express their views. Understanding the problem faced by the common man in travelling far away, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma asked all the officials to go to remote villages and organize night Chaupals. These officials have also been given the target of night stay in the villages.
The gap between the administration and the common people has been bridged once again with the Chaupals. Now the Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, Additional Divisional Commissioner, Additional Collector and Sub-Divisional Officer are reaching out to the public and listening to their grievances. When the officers hold night Chaupals, they face not only the problems of the common people but also the problems of a particular place. After this bilateral dialogue, options open up for resolving the problems of the villagers.
The Chief Minister himself will review on Friday
The Chief Minister sent all the in-charge secretaries to the districts on 28 and 29 May to take feedback on services like heat wave management, water, electricity and health. The government has received the report of these visits and it will be reviewed by the Chief Minister himself on Friday. In order to ensure that the common people do not face any problems and get uninterrupted services, the Chief Minister has taken special permission from the Election Commission for review despite the code of conduct. The objective of the Chief Minister behind this entire exercise is to hear every person in a timely manner and provide them basic facilities like water, electricity and medicine on time.
