Jammu, May 28 (HS). The Bharatiya Janata Party has promised to expand its Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme to cover all citizens. This was stated by BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan here at Trikuta Nagar. She had organized a camp for distribution of Ayushman health insurance cards at her residence here. She was accompanied by District Secretary Jammu South Rohin Chandan, Treasurer Rajesh Gupta and others. Mahajan stressed that all senior citizens above 70 years of age and transgender community will be brought under the ambit of the Centre's health scheme, Ayushman Bharat Yojana. She highlighted that the BJP under the banner of PM Modi is working tirelessly to ensure social development and social inclusion for all sections of the society in true sense.
According to her, the focus will be on women's participation and contribution in the next five years. IT, travel, education, health and retail industries will all train women. She promised that the BJP will start implementing the manifesto promises as soon as the results of the June 4 elections are announced. Rekha also expressed confidence that the BJP will form the next government with more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha. The Modi government has improved the country's health infrastructure from primary to tertiary level, ensuring the provision of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh for the general public.
