West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the final phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Addressing her last public meeting of the day, she said that Narendra Modi will become the former Prime Minister within the next week. Addressing an election rally in Behala, Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee said that Narendra Modi can be called the Prime Minister only for another seven-eight days. After that he will become the former Prime Minister.
While addressing an election rally in Kolkata, PM Narendra Modi had said that he was monitoring the cyclone situation in Bengal from Delhi. Questioning this, Mamata Banerjee said that he (PM Narendra Modi) says that he has monitored the entire cyclone in Kakdwip from Delhi. Does telling such lies befit a Prime Minister? After this, challenging PM Modi, she said that how much do you know about the situation in Bengal? She said that do you have any information about what happened due to the cyclone, how much damage has been caused. After this, directly attacking PM Modi communally, Mamata Banerjee said that you have caused riots while being the Chief Minister of Gujarat. At that time you did not have news of the whole country but I have been the Railway Minister twice. I used to take care of the whole country.
Before this, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took out a nine kilometer long padyatra in Kolkata. She took out padyatra in support of Lok Sabha candidate of North and South Kolkata as well as Dum Dum in which thousands of Trinamool Congress workers participated.
