Dhamtari- Two people arrested for smuggling liquor

Dhamtari, May 28 (HS). Police have arrested the accused of smuggling liquor in different police station areas. Police have seized liquor from the accused.

According to the information received from the City Kotwali Police, Maniklal Dahriya, 41 years, Jalampur Ward Dhamtari, was found transporting liquor on his motorcycle to sell it illegally to people near the entrance of the Dhamtari bus stand. 25 quarters of country made plain liquor and four quarters of masala liquor were seized from the accused in a backpack. The police seized the liquor from the accused and took action.

Similarly, in village Madeli of Magarlod police station area, a person was caught selling raw Mahua liquor illegally. On the information of the informer, the police seized a total of 17 liters of raw Mahua liquor in two white plastic jerry cans from the possession of the accused Ramlal Kumar, 35 years, village Madeli. Also, the accused has been arrested and action has been taken.

Yuvraj Thakur, Krishna Patil, Fanesh Sahu from cyber team and station in-charge inspector Rajesh Jagat, sub-inspector Ajay Banarasi, head constable Jaitram Jogi, constable Vimal Patel, Triveni Dhruv Sainik Mahesh Sinha, Dharam Nishad from Magarlod police station made special contribution in catching the accused.
