Dumka, May 28 (HS). BJP State President Babulal Marandi addressed the Mahavijay Sankalp Sabha organized in Dumka Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday. He said that this is the Lok Sabha election. This is the last phase of election in Santhal Pargana region. Both Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress are contesting the election in Santhal Pargana. Both parties have been against Jharkhand. They have also been against the people of Jharkhand. Congress party ruled for 55 years in independent India. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha remained with them but these people did not make Jharkhand a separate state.
Marandi said that BJP had promised that Jharkhand would be made a separate state if our government is formed at the Centre. Jharkhand became a separate state when the government was formed under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Centre. We have to vote for the party which made Jharkhand a separate state. JMM and Congress are also against development. Earlier, there used to be no roads to the villages. There used to be no bridges over the rivers and streams. There was no electricity even in homes. When BJP government was formed at the Centre and in Jharkhand, roads were built up to the villages. Electricity reached each and every home. Due to lack of electricity, everyone used to run here and there for kerosene and lanterns.
Marandi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought the light of development to the villages. If Congress wanted, roads would have reached the villages. Electricity would have reached every house but they did not work. Narendra Modi is giving Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to the poor. Food grains are also being given to the poor for free. Insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh has also been done for treatment and medicines. We have to make those who care so much for us the Prime Minister again in 2024.
