Bomb threat in flight coming from Delhi, panic ensued, people jumped from emergency window

There was chaos due to the news of bomb in IndiGo flight going from Delhi to Varanasi. Today, on Tuesday morning, IndiGo flight was about to take off from Delhi to Varanasi, when the news of bomb in the plane came. After this, emergency evacuation of the plane was done at IGI Airport. Aviation security sources have informed that bomb was written on a note in the laboratory of the plane.

As soon as the news of bomb in the flight was received, there was an atmosphere of panic among the passengers and crew members. People started jumping from the emergency exit of the plane at the airport itself and running away. After getting information about the bomb in the plane, the flight was diverted to another place, where all the passengers were evacuated safely.

As soon as the information about the bomb in the Indigo flight was received, the aviation security and bomb disposal team immediately reached the spot. Along with this, the Delhi Fire Service said that 'Today at 5:35 am, there was a news of a bomb on the QRT going from Delhi to Varanasi. All the passengers were evacuated through the emergency door. All the passengers are safe. The flight is being inspected.

According to the information received, a tissue paper was found in the bathroom of the flight on which the word bomb was written. After this, an investigation was started. The message read, 'Bomb explosion in 30 minutes.' This message was seen by the pilot in flight 6E2211. There were a total of 176 passengers on board the plane, including 2 children.

Along with this, IndiGo issued a statement saying that 'IndiGo's Delhi to Varanasi flight 6E2211 has received a bomb threat at Delhi airport. After this, all the necessary protocols were followed and the plane was taken to a remote area as per the guidelines of airport security agencies. All the passengers were evacuated safely through emergency exits. Currently the flight is being inspected. After all the security checks are completed, the plane will be deployed back to the terminal area.

At present, it will be known only after investigation whether there is really a bomb in the flight or this is a fake call. Earlier, many schools in Delhi had received bomb threats. Not only this, there were reports of a bomb in the Home Ministry as well, which later proved to be fake.
