Chandigarh: Punjab Government will organize 'Rangla Punjab' event at Tourism Investor Summit in Amritsar from February 23 to 29. Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann said that this grand program which will last for 7 days at the Cultural Center Amritsar will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The event focuses on themes like literature, food, music, passion and emotion and the 'spirit of service' of Punjab.
Mann said that the Rangla Punjab event aims to provide an amazing entertainment performance experience to attract audiences across the world. Apart from entertainment, the event focuses on the objective of promoting mutual unity and respect among the communities while preserving the cultural heritage of Punjab for future generations.
The Cabinet Minister said that the festival will begin with a grand opening ceremony and various other programs to be held at Khalsa College Amritsar on February 23. Drama and Literature Festival will be organized on 24th and 25th February and a grand shopping festival will be organized at Ranjit Avenue from 26th to 29th February, where a bazaar (hut) will be set up for top brands of shoes, clothes, electrical goods . , equipment etc.
Mann said that Harjeet Harman on 24th, Lakhwinder Badali on 25th, Kulwinder Billa on 27th, Kanwar Grewal on 28th, Sikandar Salim on 29th will present colorful programs. A folk night evening will be organized at Gobindgarh Fort on 26th February to highlight the rich heritage of Punjab along with folk music.
