Actually, during the promotion event of the film, Janhvi Kapoor mentioned a funny incident from her life. The actress told how once her father Boney Kapoor caught her in the bedroom with a boy. After which he got angry and punished the actress.
Talking to Mashable India, the actress recalled this incident and said that this was when we used to live in our old house. Then once I invited one of my male friends to my house.
Jhanvi said that there was no one in the house at that time and we both were talking in the bedroom. But suddenly Papa came into the house and I got scared and asked the boy to jump down from the window instead of the door.
The actress further said, 'I thought that if he escapes through the window, father will not even get a clue of it.' But father saw everything in the CCTV camera and my plan was ruined. Janhvi told that my father even punished me for that incident. He had got grills installed in all the windows of the house.
