Ranchi, May 27 (HS). Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accused in the land scam case, has pleaded for bail in the Jharkhand High Court. He has filed a regular bail petition in the High Court through his lawyer. He has also requested for an early hearing.
Hemant Soren's advocate made this request to the High Court through a mention memo, which the court has accepted. The High Court will hear Hemant Soren's bail plea on May 28. His plea has been listed in the court of Justice Rangon Mukhopadhyay of the High Court.
