Dehradun, 22 February (HS). The employees are fake and the work is also fake. Dehradun STF and cyber police team arrested such a fake employee from Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday and sent him to jail. The arrested accused has committed online fraud of about Rs 37 lakh in the name of policy and investment.
In fact, a complaint was received at the Cyber Crime Police Station that the complainant, a resident of Dehradun, along with an unknown person, first opened the policy by pretending to be an employee of SBI Smart Wealth Builder Policy, and then in the name of getting it rectified by declaring it wrong and offering various benefits on the unit value of the policy. He committed fraud by luring Rs. 36,99,084.36 (Rs. 36,99,084.36) (Rs. 36,99,084 and 36 paise) in different accounts on different dates. On the basis of the complaint, a case was registered against unknown person at Cyber Crime Police Station, Dehradun and the investigation was handed over to Additional Sub Inspector of Cyber Police Station, Sunil Bhatt.
Mobile with two SIM cards, Aadhar, PAN and ATM cards recovered
The team formed for the action arrested the accused Mahesh Kumar Verma (25), son of Shivkumar, resident of Bhupganj market, Rukanpur police station, Payagpur district, Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, who came to light through technical analysis, from Bahraich. Also recovered were mobile phone with two SIM cards, Aadhaar, PAN and ATM card.
Police alert, avoid cyber crime, inform immediately

Before applying for any type of online job, make sure to get complete verification of the said site from the local bank, concerned company etc. Do not search any customer care number on Google.
