Bhopal, 22 February (HS). A one-day training program for food operators of canteens run by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation was organized by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on Thursday at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in the capital Delhi. The program provided training on topics such as food safety rules and regulations, personal hygiene, allergen management, food handling and control, documentation, labeling, training methods and emerging trends in the food industry.
It is noteworthy that under the Food Safety Training and Certification (FOSTAC) programme, training sessions are being organized by FSSAI in the canteens of buildings and government offices of all the States/Union Territories located in the national capital with the aim of enhancing the food safety ecosystem. .
