Godda, May 27 (HS). On Monday, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's star campaigner Kalpana Soren addressed an election rally in favour of Indi alliance's Congress candidate Pradeep Yadav at Sidhu Kanho ground in Suggabathan of Podiyahat block under Godda Lok Sabha constituency.
After garlanding the statue of Sido-Kanhu installed in the ground, Kalpana Soren termed today's time as decisive and said that you have to decide whether we have to follow the path of Tilka Manjhi Sido-Kanhu or we have to leave our Jharkhand in the hands of capitalists. She said that there was a time when Tilka Manjhi and Sidhu Kanhu had waged a war against the British and they had won this big battle with a simple bow and arrow.
Kalpana said that Disom Guru Shibu Soren had also waged a war against the moneylenders here and he too had won. Today again the feudal capitalists here want to capture Jharkhand once again. This is the reason why they have sent Hemant Soren to jail so that the voice of the poor, tribals and Jharkhandis can be suppressed. Therefore, the decision has to be taken by you and this time in this decisive battle, protect the existence of Jharkhand by making INDIAA candidate Pradeep Yadav win with a huge margin from Godda Lok Sabha constituency. If you vote for Pradeep Yadav, Hemant Soren will come out of jail and the battle here will be won in Delhi.
Congress candidate Pradeep Yadav said that this election is a fight between the poor and the industrialists, which will be decided by the votes of the common and poor people. Attacking the BJP's rival candidate Nishikant Dubey, he said that his drum roll about development is just a sham. He also said that he should forget about the poor, backward Dalits and tribals. Pradeep said that if Nishikant has drunk a glass of water in any poor upper caste person's house in the last 15 years, then he should show that photo and we will understand that he has love for the poor people of the area in his heart.
The public meeting was also addressed by Ajit Mahatma, Principal Premnandan Kumar, Block President Awadh Kishore Hansda and Twenty Point Chairman Ajay Sharma etc.
