Ranchi, May 27 (HS). The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will question IAS Manish Ranjan on May 28 in the tender commission scam case. The ED has sent summons to Manish Ranjan on May 25 and called him to the ED's regional office at Airport Road for questioning on May 28.
On Monday, sources said that ED will question Minister Alamgir Alam and IAS Manish Ranjan face to face. It is being told that Manish Ranjan's involvement has come to light in the interrogation of Minister Alamgir Alam, his OSD Sanjeev Lal and Jahangir so far. Manish Ranjan has been summoned again by ED in this case. Manish Ranjan is currently the Secretary of Land Revenue Department. Earlier, he has been posted as Secretary of Rural Development Department. Earlier, ED had summoned Manish Ranjan on 22 May and called him to ED office for questioning on 24 May. But Manish Ranjan had sent a letter and asked for time.
