Incidents of birds colliding with flying planes are increasing. A few days ago, 39 flamingos died in a collision with a flight coming from Dubai to Mumbai. Not even a week has passed since this incident and a similar incident has come to light once again. This bird suddenly collided with a Spice Jet flight going from Delhi to Leh. After this, the plane landed again at Delhi airport.
Actually, Spice Jet B737 aircraft took off from Delhi airport. Then suddenly a bird collided with the engine of the flight. The bird died on the spot. The flight was landed again at Delhi airport. Due to this accident, the lives of 135 passengers on board the plane were in danger.
An airline spokesperson said that the plane made an emergency landing in Delhi for safety reasons to check the technical fault as aviation experts conducted an investigation. The spokesperson further said that SpiceJet B737 flight SG-123 which was going from Delhi to Leh returned to Delhi after a bird hit the second engine. The plane landed safely in Delhi and all the passengers are safe and have been deboarded.
