Ranchi, May 25 (HS). Ranchi District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha said that voting was conducted peacefully in all the assembly constituencies of Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency. He said that voting started at all polling stations from 7 am on Saturday. All polling parties, sector officers, zonal officers were fully alert. Reports related to law and order were also being received from time to time. Web casting was being done from the control room at all 2037 booths under Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency. A full phase control room was working in the district, wherever any kind of suggestion or complaint was coming, prompt action was being taken there immediately. All polling parties are gradually reaching with EVM machines. Strict and strong arrangements have been made for the security of EVMs.
Sinha was talking to reporters in the strong room built in the premises of Pandra Bazar Samiti on Saturday night. He said that there will be three-tier security of the strong room. CRPF will be deployed in the first layer, Jharkhand State Armed Police in the second layer and District Armed Police in the third layer.
