Faridabad 25 May (HS). District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh said on Saturday that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, strict monitoring was done through webcasting to ensure that the Lok Sabha elections were conducted peacefully and fairly. All polling stations had direct access from CCTV cameras, due to which the monitoring work was completed easily.
The Election Commission and the District Administration are taking help of new technology in the voting process of the election. District Election Officer Vikram Singh said that the district administration monitored the webcasting through cameras installed at all polling stations. The election process was completed without any problem. Along with District Election Officer Vikram Singh, Commissioner of Police Rakesh Kumar also remained constantly involved in this monitoring. For the General Lok Sabha Election-2024, monitoring was done at various levels on the field both inside and outside the polling stations. District Election Officer Vikram Singh further said that the District Administrative Officer reviewed the ongoing activities related to the implementation of voting in the district with other officers and employees including the nodal appointed for webcasting at the administrative level with continuity.
