India-China border dispute : Border dispute has been going on between India and China for years. In the year 2020, there was a violent clash between the soldiers of the two countries in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh. China has border disputes with many countries. Apart from this, it is bullying, Defense Secretary Giridhar Armane, while responding to China's bullying, said that India is responding strongly to China threatening the border and America will also stand with India.
America will stand with India in case of conflict with China: Defense Secretary
Defense Secretary Armani said in an event organized between Indians and American defense industry that, 'We will continue to discuss with China keeping in mind the upcoming challenges. The Galvan incident will always keep us active. It is expected that whenever India and China face off, America will stand with India. We stand strong against the threats. If we need America's support, it will stand with us. If there is any common threat to India then it is necessary to ensure America's support. We support each other against the common threat with strong resolve, which is very important to us.
No agreement will be reached even in the 21st meeting between India and China
India and China have held 21 meetings since the Galwan incident in 2020, but with only partial success. Demchok and Depsang near the border still remain unresolved issues. On Monday, the 21st meeting of the Corps Commander level of the two countries was held, but no significant progress could be made in the direction of reconciliation. The last meeting had sought restoration of peace in all areas along the border areas as well as the LAC (Line of Actual Border) in eastern Ladakh.
