According to a report, Justice Mohite Dere and Manjusha Deshpande have given this order. During the hearing, the court questioned the CBI's argument that it is appropriate to issue LOC merely on the basis of registering an FIR. Apart from this, the court also questioned the jurisdiction that the original FIR was lodged by Sushant's family in Patna.

Advocate Ayaz Khan, appearing for Showik and his father, said during the hearing that the look-out circular should be issued only when the accused is actively trying to avoid arrest or court proceedings, which is not the case. Advocate Shriram Shirsat appeared on behalf of CBI in this case.
