Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is preparing for the Lok Sabha elections, seems to have agreed to contest the elections in Delhi under an alliance. According to AAP sources, Aam Aadmi Party can contest elections from South Delhi, North-West Delhi, New Delhi and West Delhi seats. Congress can win the remaining three seats North East, Chandni Chowk and East Delhi. Apart from this, seat sharing has been decided between AAP and Congress in two other states also. According to the distribution formula that has been prepared, AAP will contest on 4 seats in Delhi, while Congress will be given three seats. Whereas in Haryana, Congress will give one seat to Aam Aadmi Party and 2 seats in Gujarat. Its official announcement will be made soon.
Kejriwal gave hints
CM Kejriwal said talks for seat adjustment in the national capital are in the 'final stage' and the alliance between the two parties will be announced soon. He said, 'It is too late, this should have happened long ago. Let's see what happens in the next day or two. Arvind Kejriwal further said that talks are going on regarding alliance in other states also. “The talks are going very well.” Delhi Congress President Arvinder Singh Lovely said, “The committee headed by Mukul Wasnik is continuously talking to the members of the ‘Bharat’ block. It would not be appropriate for me to comment on this. There are seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi and all the seats are held by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Recently, Aam Aadmi Party had offered one seat to Congress out of 7 Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party's National Organization Minister Sandeep Pathak said that under the alliance, Aam Aadmi Party itself will contest on 6 out of seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi and Congress will contest on one seat. He said that Congress has zero seats in the Lok Sabha and Assembly in Delhi. Congress can win 9 out of 250 seats in MCD elections. Sandeep Pathak said that if we look at the figures on the basis of merit, the Congress Party does not have claim on a single Lok Sabha seat.
