Heatwave alert in India: People are facing a lot of trouble due to the fire raining from the sky in North West India. The heat is becoming dreadful in some states of the country. The temperature has crossed 45 degrees in some cities. Meanwhile, in view of the severe heat in many states including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, the Union Health Ministry has suggested measures to avoid it.
Ministry of Health Welfare announced an advisory
The weather department issued a red alert for Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and north-west Madhya Pradesh and asked people to remain alert. Besides, the Union Ministry of Family and Health Welfare has also announced an advisory to avoid heat.
How to avoid heat wave?
1. Increase fluid intake and beware of heat stroke symptoms
2. Avoid going to crowded places and excessive sunlight.
3. Maintain cleanliness of food, water and shade.
4. Seek medical care if you are experiencing heat-related symptoms.
