Bangladesh minister's outrage | Live Updates, Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Kolkata: West Bengal Police believe that Bangladesh MP Anwar-ul-Azeem was murdered in Kolkata.

An MP from Bangladesh's ruling party Awami League had come to Kolkata for treatment on May 12. After that he is not known. Kolkata Police has recorded this in its general diary on 18 May.

According to the initial complaint lodged at Kolkata's Baranagar police station, Anwar-ul-Azeem was seen in the New Town area. He had gone there to meet someone. Then he was murdered in a flat.

According to more information received in this regard, Kalganj Upazila Awami League president Anwar-ul-Azim went to the residence of his family friend Gopal Biswas at around 7 pm on May 12. While leaving Biswas's house, he told him that he was going to Delhi. So do not call repeatedly as he cannot be contacted easily.

On May 15, he sent a WhatsApp message to Gopal Vishwas. It said, I have reached Delhi and am sitting with a VIP. He also sent a similar message to his personal assistant Rauf.

So on May 17, Azim's family tried to contact him but could not. So on the same day his family lodged a complaint with the Dhaka police. But since then there is no trace of Anwar-ul-Azim. Not only this, his dead body could not be found. There were reports that he might want to go back to Dhaka via Bangladesh. So the police searched for him in the New Town area of Bangladesh where he had gone earlier. But no clue was found there either.

In short, the mystery becomes complicated. The confusion of the police is that until the body is found, why can a case of murder or suicide or accident be registered?
