Edinburgh, May 23 (HS). Scotland on Wednesday announced their 28-player provisional squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 in Germany.
With injuries hampering Scotland's preparations, head coach Steve Clarke named a provisional squad of 28 players for the prestigious event, which begins on June 15.
Scotland will have to make a reduction of 26 players to the extended squad by 11pm on June 7. This will happen on the same day when Clarke's team will play its final practice match against Finland.
Goalkeeper Craig Gordon has been included in the squad, with the 41-year-old returning to action in December 2022 following a double leg break.
Additionally, Gordon, Xander Clark, Angus Gunn and Liam Kelly have also been included in the list of goalkeepers.

Defenders: Liam Cooper, Grant Hanley, Jack Hendry, Ross McCrorie, Scott McKenna, Ryan Porteous, Anthony Ralston, Andy Robertson, John Soutar, Greg Taylor, Kieran Tierney.
Midfielders: Stuart Armstrong, Ryan Christie, Billy Gilmour, Ryan Jack, Kenny McLean, John McGinn, Callum McGregor, Scott McTominay.
Forwards: Che Adams, Ben Dock, Lyndon Dykes, James Forrest, Lawrence Shankland.
