Meri Jeevan Vistar Yojana, clothing and books distribution by BSF

Raiganj, May 22 (HS). Under the dynamic leadership of Inspector General of BSF North Bengal Frontier Shri Suryakant Sharma, 137th Battalion Border Security Force (BSF) under Raiganj Sector distributed clothes, books and other items at Border Out Post Shivrampur. The program was inaugurated by Commandant of 137 Battalion BSF Shri Sukhveer Dhangar on Wednesday. BSF officers, local dignitaries and border villagers were present during the program.

During this program, clothes, books and other items were donated by the families of the border jawans to more than 200 people of the nearby border villages. Its main purpose is to distribute clothes among the needy people of the border so that a feeling of brotherhood and cooperation can be created among them.

The border villagers appreciated this program and expressed their gratitude to the BSF. At the same time, the villagers also assured that they will provide full cooperation to the BSF in future.
