Chandigarh, May 22 (HS). Rahul Gandhi held a rally in Charkhi-Dadri in support of party candidate Rao Dan Singh. During the rally on Wednesday, Congress leader Kiran Chaudhary and party candidate Rao Dan Singh clashed with each other on the stage in front of Rahul Gandhi. Angered by the cancellation of daughter Shruti's ticket, MLAs Kiran Chaudhary and Dan Singh showed fingers to each other on the stage itself. Seeing the squabbling between the two leaders in front of Rahul on the stage, Bhupendra Singh Hooda came to his rescue and Rahul got up from between the two and walked with Hooda.
The mutual fight between Congress leaders in front of Rahul Gandhi on the stage once again became public. In the rally organized in Charkhi Dadri, chairs of Bhupendra Hooda on one side of Rahul and Congress candidate Rao Dan Singh on the other side were placed on the stage. Kiran Chaudhary was also made to sit on the stage. As soon as Bhupendra Hooda got up for his address, Kiran Choudhary sat on the chair next to Rahul Gandhi and started talking to Rahul. Angered by the cancellation of Shruti Chaudhary's ticket, Kiran Chaudhary had accused Rao Dan Singh of not picking up her calls and not informing her about any programme. Kiran Chaudhary has alleged that Bhupendra Hooda was directly involved in getting Shruti's ticket canceled. After this, Kiran Chaudhary and Rao Dan Singh clashed with each other in front of Rahul Gandhi on the stage itself and both showed fingers to each other.
Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha seat is considered the traditional seat of the Bansilal family. This time Congress cut the ticket of Shruti Choudhary and gave it to Hooda supporter Rao Dan Singh. After which the long standing dispute between Kiran Choudhary and Hooda widened further and the very next day after Dan Singh got the ticket, Kiran showed her rebellious attitude by calling a meeting of workers in Bhiwani. In the meantime, when everything seemed to be going well, three days ago Kiran once again heated up the matter by accusing Bhupendra Hooda and Uday Bhan of a conspiracy to end her and Shruti Choudhary's politics.
