Ranchi, May 22 (HS). BJP approached the Election Commission against Inspector Dilip Yadav, brother of Congress candidate Pradeep Yadav of Godda Lok Sabha constituency. On Wednesday, a BJP delegation under the leadership of State Convenor of Law Cell Sudhir Srivastava submitted a memorandum to Additional Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Neha Arora.
Sudhir Srivastava said that a person named Neelkanth Yadav was murdered in Jokela village of Saraiyahat police station area of Dumka district and then Pradeep Yadav's brother Inspector Dilip Yadav reached Neelkanth Yadav's house in that village and told that he is investigating this murder case. The delegation asked on whose advice Dilip Yadav had gone to Neelkanth Yadav's house.
Sudhir Srivastava said that since 2005, by some means or other, Dilip Yadav is always transferred to Godda at the time of elections. This should also be investigated. Also said that Congress candidate from Godda Pradeep Yadav, his brother Inspector Dilip Yadav and all those involved in this entire episode should be investigated. He said that BJP had filed a complaint against Dilip Yadav in the past also, when Dilip Yadav was transferred but now his suspension has been demanded.
