Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren's wife and JMM's star campaigner Kalpana Soren fiercely attacked the central government on Wednesday at Bodam's Hattola ground in Jugsalai assembly constituency of the district. Addressing the people amid heavy rain, Kalpana said that when the Centre demanded one lakh 36 thousand crore rupees for the development of the state, Hemant Babu was put in jail as part of a conspiracy.
Kalpana said that BJP has done nothing except lying to the people of the country in the last 10 years. Whatever promise was made to the public has not been fulfilled till date. The public does not even know where the MP of the area lives. Hemant Babu's government, which developed the tribal people of the state, provided pension and ration to 26 lakh people and constructed 15,000 kilometers of roads.
Kalpana said that it is election season. Despite heavy rains, our people who have come from far and wide have made up their mind that this time Indi will work to shake the BJP's chair by bringing the coalition government in the country. He said that Hemant Babu has worked to empower the women of the state by connecting them with pension. Only when Indi coalition government will be formed will the lock of the jail be broken and Hemant Babu will come out.
